Events On Pine Alcohol Policy

1. Alcohol must be served by a California RBS certified bartender from our approved Vendor List.

2. All vendors must provide proof of Commercial General Liability Insurance meeting our requirements (see below).

3. Bartenders must be chosen from Events On Pine's Preferred Vendor List. Any exceptions must be approved by the Venue no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the scheduled event. 

4. Generally, alcohol cannot be sold on the premises without an ABC licensed liquor catering service. Otherwise, all bars must be hosted. Inquire for details.

5. Alcohol cannot be brought or consumed by anyone under the legal drinking age (21) in California.

6. The bartender must stop serving alcohol one (1) hour prior to the end of the event.

7. No self-serve alcohol stations allowed unless monitored by certified personnel.

*Failure to conform to this policy will constitute a breach of contract by the lessee, up to and including cancellation of the event (on the spot) with zero refunds.

**All alcohol service vendors must carry a valid Commercial General Liability Insurance Policy with a minimum of $1,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate. EVENTS ON PINE must be named as an Additional Insured.**

BARTENDING SERVICES

1. MISSION-CRITICAL REQUIREMENTS

To maintain "Site Integrity" and ensure the safety of our guests, the Bartending Vendor agrees to the following:

Alcohol Policy Compliance: The Vendor has read, understands, and agrees to strictly adhere to the Events On Pine Alcohol Policy (found at eventsonpine.com/alcohol-policy). This includes, but is not limited to, the prohibition of self-service, age verification protocols, and responsible service limits.

Certificate of Insurance (COI): The Vendor must provide an annual COI naming MATTISION LEA, INC., DBA Events On Pine as "Additionally Insured."

General Liability: Minimum $1,000,000 per occurrence.

Liquor Liability: Minimum $1,000,000.

Professional Conduct: As a preferred partner, the Vendor represents the "Historic Soul" of our venue. Staff must be professionally attired and provide service that matches our high-end brand standards.

2. VENUE LOGISTICS

Setup/Teardown: Vendors must respect the clients residency window. All bar equipment must be removed at the end of the event duration.

Culinary Suite Access: Vendors may have access to the staging area/culinary suite as noted in the Suite B floor plan for prep work.

Load-In: Arrange to arrive at least 1 hour prior to event start time. Use only the main elevator, front staircase, and corridor to avoid disrupting the main event space.

3. STAFF SOBRIETY & PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT CLAUSE

Non-Consumption Policy: The Bartending Vendor and its staff are strictly prohibited from consuming alcoholic beverages before, during, or after the event residency while on the premises. This "Zero Tolerance" policy extends to "drinking with clients," social shots, or accepting alcoholic "tips" from guests.

Operational Integrity: Staff must remain fully alert and professional at all times to ensure the safe execution of the Events On Pine Alcohol Policy. Any Vendor staff found consuming alcohol or exhibiting signs of impairment will be required to leave the premises immediately, and the Vendor may be subject to removal from the Preferred Vendor List.

Age Verification Responsibility:

It is the sole responsibility of the sober, professional staff to verify the age of any guest who appears to be under the age of 30, ensuring no alcohol is served to minors under any circumstances.

4. INDEMNIFICATION

The Vendor agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Events On Pine from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the service of alcohol by the Vendor’s staff.

VIRTUAL CONCIERGE: BARTENDING CHECKLIST

1. PRE-EVENT CLEARANCE

Agreement Signature: Ensure the Annual Preferred Vendor Agreement is signed and on file.

COI Submission: Confirm a current Certificate of Insurance (COI) naming "Events On Pine" as additionally insured is in the portal.

Alcohol Policy Review: Staff must be briefed on the specific protocols at eventsonpine.com/alcohol-policy.

2. ARRIVAL & LOGISTICS

Load-In Entrance: Use the designated service corridor near the Elevator Lobby. When possible, do not bring equipment through the main guest entrance after the event set up time.

Staging Area: All prep must be contained behind the main bar area or designated Culinary Suite located in Suite B to keep the main event space pristine.

3. BAR STATION STANDARDS

Furniture Protection: Use high-quality mats under all ice bins and pouring stations to protect the gray wood-look floors and stains on the white marble look countertops.

Ice & Water: Vendors must provide their own ice-please include in your invoice to customer; the venue provides access to the sink located in Suite B.

Full Coverage: Ensure that the bar is staffed appropriately, the bar cannot be left unattended. If you need to take a break, you must display a "bar closed" sign and request that the Security on site supervise the bar during your absence. 

4. END-OF-RESIDENCY PROTOCOL

Full Extraction: All alcohol, garnishes, and equipment must be cleared within the final hour of the residency. Place client-owned alcohol in designated carts behind the bar or in the Culinary Suite located in Suite B of the venue.

Waste Management: All glass bottles must be placed in the designated recycling bins located behind the bartop.

Floor Check: Perform a final sweep of the bar area to ensure no liquid or debris remains on the floor.
